about me

Growing up

Growing up I wasn’t afraid to dream big. There was no doubt in my mind that I was going to live a great life.
For years I dreamed of becoming an astronout. I was fascinated by the possibility to travel to other worlds, to change my perspective on what it means to witness the big and little things in life.

Sad news is, I didn’t become an astronaut after all. However, a different and to me equally exciting route appeared and led me to study philosophy for seven years.
I dove head-deep into the meaning of life, discovered what questions rightfully to ask to understand the way things are and question what I thought was true.
I even if I didn’t (and let’s be honest: will never) put a foot on the International Space Station): I loved the challenges that studying philosophy entailed.

What then followed

What then followed, is not your typical corporate job romance: I burned out even before my actual first corporate job. How does that even happen? Following rules (of others) I thought I had to follow. Ignoring my bodies‘ signs. Not knowing when or how to say no. Thinking that taking rest was a sign of weakness.
However, I haven’t yet learned the lesson.
I got back up on my feet and I functioned again for three more years.
Still in corporate, I burned out again.
That’s when I (finally) knew this couldn’t be the way.
There HAD to be another one.
One that allowed me to live a full, joyous and abundant life.

And then I got to work

And then I got to work. I listened. I questioned my thoughts. The rules I followed. Listened to what I actually wanted to do.

And what I discovered felt like returning home: the teaching of polarity.
Since then, I have studied polarity for 4+ years.

It changed everything for me.

It allows me to life a life that looks like this: receiving all kinds of goodness. Having a vibrant business. Sharing deep and meaningful connections with my friends and family. Getting opportunities left and right. Showing up as myself fully: the good, the bad, the ugly. Feeling beautifully led and supported by life. Watching my favorite TV show on a Wednesday afternoon because I know how time works for me. Having soul-opening experiences every single week. Leaning back because I know life has got my back.

And the best thing about it? It still gets better and better and better.

That’s what happens when you start looking inside instead of changing the external to feel happy. When you learn how to surrender. To allow yourself to be led. And to recognize your inherent worthiness.

A few things to know..
… no zucchini in any shape or form will ever enter my home. NOT a fan.
… I’m a Marvel movie nerd and have seen each one of them multiple times.
… I’m drawn to non-usual hobbies. For example? I trained two months in a chinese martial arts school.
